The SCC4000D has been recorded as being able to achieve print speeds of 2 seconds for 3.5” x 5.5” full color cards. Further measurements include 100 sheets/min. of business cards (2.2 x 3.6 inches)(55 x 91mm), 45 sheets/min. for postcards (3.9 x 5.8 inches)(100 x 148mm), and 28 sheets/min. for envelopes (9.3 x 4.7 inches)(235 x 120mm).

These superior print speeds are primarily achieved through the SCC4000D’s single-pass print-head technology. Although most inkjet printers print back-and-forth and/or side-to-side, single-pass print-head technology enables the SCC4000D to print pictures very quickly. Thus, the need for pre-printed cards for events is almost eliminated.

The SCC4000D’s 1200 dpi (dots per inch) resolution, on the other hand, makes sure to not forsake quality for quantity. Along with an enhanced print speed, this level of resolution keeps even detailed images and logos well defined on any badge.

These cards are unique because there is a special ink receptive layer, the cards have been tested and pair with single pass print head technology for a perfect print!
